As you all know that I love to sing an hope to be a singer in the future (more like now, haha). And, of course I listen to music. Obviously, when you make a song, you need to figure out which type of songs can you sing. Like for example rock, electronica, pop, hip-hop and so on. And of course, on how they sing. That’s the most important. Here are the following singers/bands who inspire me:

Melanie Amaro: Did anyone watch the US version of the X Factor? Well, this wonderful and extremely talented and beautiful girl, who is also the same age as me, who auditioned from the very beginning of the show, sang Beyoncé’s song called Listen. When I heard her sing, my jaw dropped and was completely amazed of hearing her voice. Since the time she got through the auditions, I had my fingers crossed for her. Weeks and weeks passed. All contestants who went through for their auditions were separated into groups (Simon was in charge of the girls, Paula was in charge of the groups, L.A was in charge of the boys and Nicole was in charge of the over 30′s) and had to go to the judges homes and also had another famous singer along to help the judges decide. Melanie was sent home halfway during the competition. I was shocked. I was disappointed. But as I continued to watch, Simon said that he knew he made a mistake. He went personally to Melanie’s home in Florida to bring her back to the competition. My disappointment disappeared. I was so excited that she was coming back to the competition. I kept praying every week that she would keep going straight to the finals. And she did. And the most happiest thing happened; she WON. What really surprised me more, is one night when she was performing, she revealed to everyone about her Virgin Islands Creole accent and with it, she said that “this is the real Melanie.” I was surprised hearing it because when she first auditioned, she had an American accent. She said that when she was younger, people made fun of her accent and she always spoke with an American accent. But being more determined with the competition, she came out of her shell. :) Because of her experience and winning the competition, she inspires me because of that. And one day, I hope to sing a collaboration with her. :D

Lady Gaga: Another strong woman who’s inspired me. I love her songs, and especially her style. But more importantly, her heart. She really and I mean REALLY loves her fans. And even more importantly, right now, she’s wants to put a stop to bullying. After listening to Born This Way for the first time, actually made me start to feel strong and more confident about myself because before I was really insecure about myself and everyone didn’t really accept me and I was always alone until high school. She and her mother made a foundation named the Born This Way Foundation which, of course I signed up to support. As a girl who was treated bad because a few things, I hope that the world stops bullying completely. And I know with her words and songs will make me more stronger. :)

Other than singing, I also love to act. Which in bonus to singing, I hope to be a voice actress as well. :) Here are the following voice actors who’ve inspired me:

Krissy: Before Almateria was up, Krissy’s blog was the first blog that I’ve looked at in a long time. When I visited Shimmer Like Gold for the first time, I was amazed how, she brings alot of inspirational words and images to her followers, whether it’s about fashion or the things she likes, she brings inspiration to me to bring more about myself in this blog. So Krissy, hopefully you read this message, thank you for inspiring many people and myself :)

Every afternoon at 4pm, I would glue to the tv and see the opening theme and sing along, see this awesome girl with a sailor outfit who fights evil and do the same stand she does with her hand on her forehead doing the peace sign. :) This TV show was bestest show I ever watched in my life. And to be honest, I still watch it in 3 languages (English, Japanese and Italian). I would buy the dolls, toys and episodes and dress up as her for Halloween. And I would also do the transformation quotes (Moon Prism Power, Make-Up!) as well. ;D Don’t tell me that you don’t when you watch the anime.

Sailor Moon (orginal title: Bishōjo Senshi Sailor Moon (美少女戦士セーラームーン) in Japanese) tells the story about a 14-year-old girl named Usagi Tsukino (月野 うさぎ Tsukino Usagi, Serena Tsukino in the English version), a regular junior high school student and a crybaby meets a talking cat named Luna and tells her that she is Sailor Moon; one of the Sailor Soldiers who is destined to protect the Earth for peace.

The series include 5 seasons which includes: Sailor Moon Classic (the first season is just simply Sailor Moon but many fans call it classic), Sailor Moon R (Romance or Return), Sailor Moon S/ (Super), Sailor Moon SuperS and Sailor Moon: Sailor Stars. Of course, I love all seasons, but for some reason my favorite seasons has to be Classic, Romance and Super. There are also 3 movies; Sailor Moon R the Movie: Promise of the Rose, Sailor Moon S the Movie: Hearts In Ice, and Sailor Moon SuperS the Movie: Black Dream Hole (The 9 Sailor Soldiers Unite! Miracle of the Black Dream Hole in Japanese). And of course, this was my first anime that I’ve seen in my life and will always be my favorite. I’m not ashamed to say that I still watch it online even though I don’t see it on TV.

My favorite Sailors are Sailor Moon and Sailor Saturn, but my number one will always will be Sailor Moon. I wish many people were like her. She accepts everyone just the way they are. She loves the world. She’s strong. If everyone was like Usagi, I would have a happy life. If anyone hasn’t watched Sailor Moon, I recommend that you watch the series and movies :)

Auditioned: You guys mostly know Britain’s Got Talent and America’s Got Talent, right? Well, Canada’s also starting to do the show as well. :) They’ve going all across Canada looking for talented people. Of course, when they came to Toronto, I auditioned since Mississauga is like 10 minutes away from Toronto. :) I got there at 10am and they started to let people in at 1pm. Thank goodness I ate a hot dog while waiting in line. XD But sadly, it was raining and it was so cold. My mom was the only person with me, but in spirit, everyone who wished me luck on Facebook was also with me. :) (I love you all!) I got inside Rogers Centre 7 minutes after 1pm. People from Tim Hortons’ were giving out free coffee and thank God, that warmed me up :)

So while waiting for my number to be called, I met a few nice people and I was also warming up my voice as well. When they called me, I went upstairs to the 4th floor and a lot of people were waiting for be called. So again, I waited, but my mom was downstairs. ;P And again, I met a few nice people and we were singing and laughing. Then an hour or two of waiting, they finally called me and 4 other girls. Three of them were my age and one was in her 40s. But trust me, she sang beautifully that I can see her on broadway. :D Shockingly so, I went first. My heart was pounding like crazy, but I didn’t let that get to me. So I sang with all my might. The song I sang was Celine Dion’s My Heart Will Go On from the movie Titanic. :) Everyone else who was with me sang wonderfully that I hope they’ll be with me when I go to the next round. When we were finished auditioning for the producer (it was a lady), the staff gave us papers on how they’ll let us know we’ll be in the next round.

Congratulations on today’s auditions for Canada’s Got Talent! You will hear if you will be going through to the next round by October 31st, 2011. IF You are called back, the dates of the Theatre Auditions will be held in Toronto on December 3rd, 4th and 5th. These dates cannot be changed and IF you are called back, these dates will be your only opportunity to progress further in the competition. IF you are called back, you need to perform the same act and you must wear the same clothes, hair, makeup, etc. Thanks for comming out today and GOOD LUCK!!

Learning: Kanji~ The most used writing in Japan :) My sensei gave me a few papers to practice writing and reading. What’s really surprising about the kanji writing, is that there are many letters can be used for one kanji writing. Sadly, since my name is very English, I can’t write my name in kanji. However, I can write it in katakana. ;D (ミシェル = Misheru)

The next day, I saw one of my favorite voice actors Vic Mignogna, you anime fans might know him as Edward Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist. :) Sadly, I missed the autograph session. But! I was lucky to get see him in concert ;D He was singing for us after the convention finished. And luckily, I was able to get an autograph, hug and picture with him :D And also, (shockingly so), on that day, was his birthday. So, I was singing happy birthday for him, and then everyone joined in. He was amazed with my voice and gave me another hug. *_____* I was so happy.

On the last day, I was able to most shockingly-ist thing I’ve done in my life. Seeing William Shatner passing in front of me with security guards, meeting the Canadian singer, Lights and Mr Draco Malfoy himself; Tom Felton. I didn’t know that Lights was going to be at the convention since she wasn’t listed in the guest list. But then again, she lives in Toronto :) Now, when I met Tom, I was freaking out like nuts, I was fixing my hair, make sure that my makeup was okay. Making sure my costume was okay. When I was going to take a picture with him, he said: “Hi, are you okay?” I was like shaking and I was like, yeah XD And when I was leaving after taking my picture, I said bye and he said: “Take care.” *Sigh* Those words will forever be in my heart :) Since it was the last day of the convention, I had had to give my address so they can mail the picture to me. Right now, I’m worried and scared of how my picture will be when I get it in the mail. ;P I’ll eventually post it when I get it to show you all. But all in all, it was the bestest day of my life and I can’t wait for next year :D

Drinking: Tim Horton’s Strawberry Banana smoothie :D While I usually buy their iced cappucino (and trust me, I still love it), Mom buys their smoothie. She let me taste hers and then I got addicted XD What’s good about it, is that they used real fruits for it :) I would usually drink it 2 times a day ;P Crazy, I know but that’s how I’m addicted to it XD

Playing: Tales of Symphonia, Alice: Madness Returns and Tales of Vesperia (PS3). For Vesperia, I’ve gotten a lot of trophies (achievements) that I could have gotten on the XBox verion of it :) If anyone plays on a PS3, and if anyone wants to add me, I’m mirrorthesoul :3 Just leave a comment letting me know that you’ve added me to your friends list. For Symphonia, I’ve restarted the game from scratch. Like I’ve deleted my saved completed games from my memory card. I’ve been tough getting grades, gald, titles and EXP again XD But I’ve been bearing it. For Madness Returns, playing that game have been slow for me that I’ve kept on setting it to easy and normal a few times XD I know. I suck. But when I make a second playthrough, I’ll set it to hard. ;P Usually when I play a game a second time, I would like a challenge XD

Excited: A few days ago, I went to a convention in Toronto called FanExpo and I went to see one of my favorite English voice actors; Vic Mignogna and of course, Mr Malfoy himself; Tom Felton :) (I’ll explain in my next blog post for details). :D

Today my fellow Canadians, let us celebrate for our country! A country where we are free, a country where we are happy, a country where we can express! Today, let us celebrate for Canada! :D

Today is the birthday of my country that I was born in. I am grateful that I was born here. I truly am. This country has many open doors that I can go through to have a good future. So many good people I’ve met. Good places to visit. And two wonderful languages I’ve learned from. If you’re proud to be in this wonderful country, celebrate! Show Canada how happy you are in this country! Happy Canada Day to all of the Canadians and happy birthday to you Canada :)

Drinking: Tim Horton’s Iced Cappuccino :) That drink always cools me down whenever it gets hot. /isn’t much of a Starbucks fan. ;P

Reading: A monthly Japanese shōjo manga (manga for girls) magazine called Ribon (りぼん). In this magazine, there are a series of mangas from mangaka that I may or may not know. ;P My Japanese teacher’s daughter gave them to me as a gift since she has no interest in them anymore. She gave me alot since they’re monthly so I’ll be reading alot of manga this summer! ;D ありがとうございます！

Missing: My friends at ballet class. I won’t be seeing them again next year since I decided to stick with music. I will never forget the time we had together and we will keep in touch. xoxo

Loving: My new BlackBerry Curve! ;D Yeah, I switched phones. If some of you guys didn’t know, I previously had an iPhone 3G. I loved it alot, but it wasn’t easy to text with. Plus, YouTube kept on crashing or some of my other apps kept on crashing. I gave it to my dad as a Father’s Day present and he loves it. Now we just gotta find a provider for him so he can use it. And some music too. ;P

Finished: My Japanese lessons :) I did my test and my last lesson on Monday and I think I did 50% x.x; So technically, I think I failed. XD But I WILL be studying this summer (since I have nothing to do) and I’ll be redoing the test again when I go back in September. I also finished going to my last ballet lesson for the year, like I said previously, I won’t be going back as I will be focusing more on singing and guitar lessons :) I will miss everyone. Seriously. But I still stay in contact with them through BlackBerry and Facebook. :D

Other than the heat wave, Summer is my favorite season. You can have time to relax, travel, have fun and spending time with your family and friends. You can go swimming, take a tan or whatever you like to do. I have to say that Summer is more better than Winter. Every year I would always look forward to summer. Basically every year, I would sleep in or sleep late. (Then again I always do that XD) I would usually go to Toronto and go to Ontario Place, go to a concert, hang out with my friends at the mall, get an ice cream or Tim Horton‘s Iced Cappuccino. :) I hope you guys have an awesome summer with your friends and family!

When I was young, I love to sing songs from Disney movies. And up to this point I still do. Disney Classics has wonderful songs that you can never forget. Like there’s Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Reflection from Mulan, You Can Fly! from Peter Pan, I Won’t Say I’m In Love from Hercules and aside from Disney there are Deliver Us & When You Believe from The Prince of Egypt. I would always sing around the house until nighttime. When I was young, I had no plans to be a singer until one day back in elementary school. This girl in my class heard me singing during an assembly (Everyone else was quiet). She came up to me and say, “You have a great voice! You should be a singer!” I was really shocked to hear that. So I gave it more thought and finally decided to be a singer when I’m older. I asked my mom my mom to sign me up for singing lessons to improve my voice. That didn’t happen till I turned 18. (Did I got mad that I started singing lessons late? HELL YES! Am I happy that I’m getting lessons? Of course).

At the moment, I haven’t written any songs yet however, I do hope to do that in the future. All I have done so far is writing titles based on my feelings and relationships with other people and I have recorded some songs sung by other artists. ¹ When it comes to singing, my inspirational artists are Ofra Haza, Kanon Wakeshima, Demi Lovato, Akiko Shikata, Lady Gaga, Bonnie Pink, Yousei Teikoku and Goldfrapp. My biggest dream is to be the singing voice to a Disney Princess. Well, a future one. Hopefully, Disney will cast me one day. To the many people out there, if you love to sing, sing. No one can stop you. Doesn’t matter if you have a beautiful voice or not. Everyone has the freedom to do so. If you wish to come a singer, go for it. Ignore if people tell you that you can’t. Nothing is impossible if you don’t try and do it yourself. :)

The time I first saw the style was in my first year of high school. Of course, the school I went to, had uniforms. But some of the students, had the hairstyle. I was in awe every time I would see them in the hallways. For casual days when we would have them, I would see a few students wearing the Emo/Scene style. One of my friends had the style back in high school but now she doesn’t. Is it bad that if I told you that I tried to do my hair and clothing style like that? :P For clothes, I didn’t get much help from any of the stores except for Hot Topic.¹ For accessories like bows, clips, I went to Claire’s, Ardene’s and Hot Topic. I really love the style because it’s creative. People add highlights and teases their hair. You can wear bright or dark colors. Now, if you’re gonna ask me what am I, I would tell you that I’m neither. :)

Before watching the movies or reading the books, I always hated reading books. I would always read magazines or flyers and such. When I changed schools in 2008, it was the second semester, I was sitting beside 2 girls in my religion class; one was listening to Yiruma’s River Flows In You on her iPod. It was the first time I listened to the song. I loved it. She mentioned Twilight at the same time. I was like, “what’s that?” They told me it was a teen novel. I told them that I hated reading books. But both girls told me that the novel was good and they were waiting for Breaking Dawn to come out. So I told them that I would buy the books and would try reading them. So after school, I went to the mall and went to Coles (it’s a bookstore that’s like Barnes & Noble in the U.S.). My mom bought all three books for me and was shocked to see that I was buying books. She said to me that I better read them XD. So went I got come, I started reading.

To be honest, I kinda got bored in the first chapter, but then as I kept reading, I actually got interested. The part that got me to keep reading was when Bella was looking at the Cullens in the cafeteria and the relationship between Edward and Bella. Especially how she’s determined to know who he is. I kept reading and reading. Even during class! My teachers got so mad at me that they’d say they’ll take away my book if I don’t stop reading during class. I never knew how this novel would have such a hold on me. I read the book for 4/5 days. As soon as I finished reading, I started to read New Moon. While reading, I heard that they were going to make a movie based on Twilight. Of course, I was excited. I would read updates on Everglow or on Twilight Livejournal community, watch the MTV Twilight Tuesdays on my laptop. When I saw the first promotional pictures of the Cullens, I was amazed how these awesome people look similar and bringing these characters to life. :D

When I was reading New Moon of course my heart broke as well after Edward left and how Bella was acting. Trust me, if I had a boyfriend who would do the same, I’d don’t know what I’d do. I admit, that I did started to hate him, but after hearing that Bella commited suicide (but she really didn’t) and he wanted to join her in death, I couldn’t. I honestly couldn’t. I understand now why he left. He’s a vampire and she’s a human. She can be easily killed by other vampires. Their worlds are different. Obviously, you would do anything to protect the one you love. Am I right or am I wrong? He loves her so dearly, it makes me cry (in a good way). And another shocker, he asks her to marry him. That added a bonus to why I love/respect Edward :) Seriously, you can’t hate him. He’s basically the ideal guy that alot of girls dream about (including myself); he loves Bella, he cares about her, he protects her, he’s by her side. Those are the 4 keys as to why I love/respect him. Sure, he may not be real, but he’s still an awesome character.

Continuing with Eclipse, of course I should have mentioned him earlier, but I don’t really like him much because of his actions in this part of the novel. Of course in Twilight he’s been mentioned. Bella has a childhood friend named Jacob Black (named Jake for short). He’s a werewolf. He confesses to Bella that he has feelings for her. Which obviously complicates Edward and Bella’s relationship as Jake keeps telling her to be with him instead of Edward. (Seriously, when you see someone in a relationship, don’t bother them). Continuing on with Edward and Bella’s relationship, we still didn’t know if she accepted his proposal. (While reading that part in the novel, I was screaming for her to say yes. Mom heard and she was like what’s wrong? ;P) But before asking again, Bella has a favor of her own. Of course, she wants to live with him and be a vampire for all eternity, but she wants to make love to him before becoming a vampire. They both make a compromise; he promises to until after they are married and she accepts his proposal. And of course I was happy :D I love this relationship so much that even though the novels are completed, I read fanfiction. :) Edward and Bella will ALWAYS be my #1 OTP.

And of course, ending with Breaking Dawn. The novel that everyone hates because of one single character. Jeez. Over here in Canada in each Chapter store (I’m not sure if it’s all of them but the one close to my house had one), there was a Midnight Masqurade party for the release of Breaking Dawn. Of course, I preordered the book since May I think. It was at the same time I bought the special edtion of Eclipse to read the first chapter of Breaking Dawn. ;P I would have started to read as soon as I got my book, but I was completely jet lagged from my trip to Montreal XD So I waited till morning. Well, first the lovely couple gets married. (Which I am very happy for!) :) They spend their honeymoon on a fiction island which is called Isle Esme. The island belongs to Edward’s adoptive mother Esme given to her by her husband Carlisle. (Isn’t it sweet and romantic?! :D) But soon, Bella discovers that she’s pregnant as she gets ill, gets an appetite for eggs and her hormones are a bit high. I kinda knew this would happen because of the title; Chapter 7: Unexpected.

So they both go back to Forks as Edward tells Bella that Carlisle will “take care of it.” As soon as she hears that, Bella immediately calls Rosalie (Edward’s adoptive sister) for help. Personally, I hate abortion. I really hate it. I cannot stand it. I honestly don’t know how people can do that. You’re killing an innocent child who just existed. Sure, it was unexpected. But it was made out of love. How can you possibly do that? It just breaks my heart. Bella already loves the child already (as mentioned before) because it made out of their love. During her pregnancy, she becomes very weak and cannot digest human food. She can only drink blood. Soon after, with his mind reading gift, Edward hears the child’s thoughts and says that she/he (eventually is a she) already loves Bella. Soon after she has the child via emergency c-section. (*Shudders* Reminds me how my mom keeps reminding me how she had me. Trust me, it never ends.) She almost dies if Edward hadn’t bitten her and given his venom. So Bella undergoes the painfully transformation from human to vampire which lasts 3 days. When she wakes up, she goes to hunt before seeing her half human/half vampire daughter Renesmee. When Bella meets her daughter for the first time with her vampire eyes, she sees that she looks more like Edward and she has her brown eyes when Bella was human.

From that point everything’s good for Bella and the rest of the Cullens. Here’s another debate, I really hate hearing. Alot of people complain and starting to hate how Bella has every thing she wanted. So what? It is possible to have what you want. I don’t know why people are complaining. And another complaint; alot of people keep saying that Breaking Dawn doesn’t exist; the series only ended at Eclipse because of Renesmee. Dang. What kind of fans are you if you didn’t like Breaking Dawn? If you liked the series, you would like all books. I read and love all 4 books. If you don’t like one or 2, then you’re not a true fan. Now, for the movies! The cast is wonderful! I’ve been going to each release and seeing the movies numerous times. ;P Except for the day it got released, I got sucky seats. That’s my only complaint. But other than that, I’ve loved the movies. :) The only time I actually got a good seat was for Eclipse and was able to see the whole screen for once. XD Now the teaser trailer for Breaking Dawn part 1 is going to be released during the MTV movie awards :D I honestly can’t wait. I’ve seen the preview and I can already tell that they’ve done a good job with the movie. :) What’s sad is the whole series both movie and novel will be really over. And people will forget that the series even existed. :(

Even though the novels are complete and the movies will be complete by next year, I will ALWAYS love the Twilight novels and movies with my heart. xoxo No one can change that. Of course, I will always watch them on my blu-ray and screencap the movies for graphic purposes and add them to my gallery. ;) So far I have 3 copies of Twilight; 2 on blu-ray (one from the DVD/blu-ray release and one from Japan), and 1 on DVD (the 3 disc special edition from HMV), 2 copies of New Moon (both on blu-ray: one from DVD/blu-ray release and again another one from Japan) and 2 copies of Eclipse (once again both on blu-ray: one from DVD/blu-ray release and again another one from Japan). I hope to buy New Moon and Eclipse on DVD to screencap since my laptop doesn’t screencap blu-ray discs. I’m planning to do the same thing for Breaking Dawn. Just recently, my mom bought me a Eclipse blanket from Hot Topic and of course, I sleep with it :) Whenever the house is cold, I always wrap it around me :D It keeps me toasty warm ^_____^ She also bought me a few t-shirts, a replica of Bella’s bracelet (the one she wore in Eclipse with the diamond and wolf) and ring.

The moment I’ll never forget in my life was when Robert and Kristen came to Toronto a week before the release of Twilight and when Daniel Cudmore also came to Toronto at a convention (sadly I forgot to bring my book :(, but I was lucky to get a picture of him! :D) to promote Eclipse :) I don’t know if they’ll ever see my blog post but, to the cast and crew of the Twilight movies; thank you so much for bringing these movies to life ~ They will always keep a special place in my heart ♥ Now to send off, here is a little picspam of some of the Twilight stuff I have :D Enjoy~ :D

Celebrated: My birthday, Mother’s Day and my parent’s anniversary. They celebrated 30 something years together. That’s a long time, eh? :D

Rehearsing: The ballet recital. Every end of the dance year, we do a recital to show for the parents and families 2 times which will happen on Saturday, June 11th. First one is at 12pm and the second one is at 6pm. We had a rehearsal on Saturday and only 4 people (5 including myself) showed up. I’m scared of how this dance is gonna be if everyone doesn’t show up to rehearse. :( We might have to redo the whole dance if this happens.

Excited: I will start taking guitar lessons in June! :D I asked my mom if I could and she said yes! I already bought my guitar now, I wait for my lesson to come :D I only touched it 2 times and that it. XD I’m scared to hurt it. :P And I’m also excited to get a dog around the last week of August/September :D If you guys remember before I decided to reset my blog anew, that I would get a dog? I was going to get a Westie (West Highland Terrier) but I decided to get a Maltese this time. :D My friend has one and he’s soo cute and sweet!!! And I also watched an episode of CMT’s Pick A Puppy to help me choose which dog should I get. So I decided to get one :)

And this is all I’ve been doing this month! :P

She loved to dress me in cute little dresses, put ribbons on my hair and put my hair in small braids. I’ve been living in the same town all of my life. Never moving. When I was little, I loved to touch things and as a punishment, I have a scar on my right arm from pulling the table cloth in the kitchen; making my dad’s coffee fall on my arm, burning me. Years later, the scar is still there, but it’s slowly fading away. In elementary school, I was the tallest out of everyone in the class. That changed until I reached high school. So I didn’t stand out.

For birthday plans, I plan to have henna (or Mehndi as they call it as well) done on my hands, have a small birthday cake made by a friend and hang out with my mom (if it’s not raining), at the mall like last year. I wish to have a warm and sunny day, lots of hugs and birthday wishes. More importantly, have a great day. :) Here are some pictures of myself when I was young and the me now.
